Hearing aids for people in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas.

Fitting

Real Ear Measurement

Fitting

The selected instruments will be fitted and audiometric data will be reviewed, with any necessary adjustments being made as required.

Real Ear Measurement

The results of the fitting will be verified using Real Ear Measurements and Speech testing to ensure the efficacy of the initial benefits.

At this visit you will also be given specific information regarding care and maintenance of your new hearing system, and stage one of the rehabilitation program. This is an important part in the process of learning to use your new instruments successfully. Further appointments will be scheduled to ensure that full benefit is being achieved and to make any further adjustments if necessary.

Aftercare

At the first appointment after fitting there is a full check up on the fit of the hearing instruments and any adjustments which are required are implemented. Further instruction is provided on the use and care of the instruments. Appointments are scheduled for further advice and fine tuning, usually at fortnightly intervals. The number of future appointments will be determined by the scale of benefit achieved. Interim appointments can be made if required and telephone advice is always available. The 60 day evaluation plan is provided to ensure full benefit from the instruments is achieved. Re-assessment and evaluation is performed at six months after fitting. An annual assessment of hearing and hearing instrument check is also provided.
